Greetings

Welcome to the May newsletter from Gemini Physical Therapy Spine & Sports Rehabilitation.

In this newsletter, we are discussing proper cane height and how to use a cane.

Having to use a cane may initially be a daunting experience, but over time and with the right guidance it can become a beneficial tool for enhanced stability. Canes also help people maintain their balance while standing and walking.

EAT WELL

Making healthy dinners and desserts can be both fun and beneficial. Here are two quick and easy recipes that are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Honey Garlic Shrimp

From: sallysbakingaddiction.com

This simple recipe is a fan favorite because it's quick, easy, and delicious. Mix honey, reduced-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and fresh ginger for a zesty shrimp marinade.

Sautee the shrimp, add a garnish of green onion, and you're done. Serve with a side of vegetables, salad, brown rice, or pasta for a healthy, hearty meal.

Raw Cacao Bites

From: simpleveganblog.com

It only takes three ingredients to make these tasty bites: walnuts, Medjool dates, and cacao. You can also use other types of dates and add maple syrup or molasses for extra flavor.

Grab a powerful blender or food processor and blend the ingredients into a soft dough. Then use your hands to make ready-to-serve, bite-sized cacao balls.
